Daily account data not updating (among other issues)

I’m currently only utilizing paper trading so I can’t speak to the live environment, however, I’m seeing some issues that have been sustained over the past few trading days:

  1. The paper trading account amounts are not updating daily, i.e., the “daily change” is not resetting on a new day, the previous day’s final change amount is carrying over.
  2. I’m also noticing that some open positions simply do not appear as open orders. The ‘buy’ order appears in the recent orders, but it does not show up as an open order.
  3. If the open position does happen to show up, when trying to submit a ‘sell’ order request, all I get back is an ‘insufficient buying power’ error. Which makes zero sense since I’m trying to sell. (As if it’s trying to sell a position it is not recognizing as actually being open…and when I try to forcibly liquidate the position via the web app, it just throws a 404 error.)

This has been going on since last week. There is definitely something wrong on Alpaca’s end of things. Hopefully this is just a paper trading issue and not affecting live accounts. But regardless, it’s super annoying when trying to run my service.

Jumping in on this. I am also having some issues with the “base_value” of my paper trading portfolio when I try to retrieve info after the 14th of November for two different paper accounts. That directly affects my return %. Could be related. Im using the “Get Account Portfolio History” feature from the docs.

I attached a picture. The equity should not be negative (correct would be close to $800k).

It appears that they have resolved the issues I was seeing, but keeping an eye on it. It’s not surprising if numbers are off elsewhere, the behavior I was seeing was wreaking havoc on my totals, not to mention other issues not noted above, like unwanted swing trades. At any rate, hopefully all of the wrinkles get ironed out soon.
