Legacy account closed. How to create a new account?

Hello, my legacy Alpaca account was closed. I can still sign in, but it says “Your account is currently blocked. Please contact support if you need assistance or have any questions”. I tried to create a new account, but now I cannot use the same email address. Can anyone please let me know how they migrated to their new account from legacy?

Hi @shankar_1979, unfortunately, you do need a different email address to sign up, but luckily, you can use the same email account by using this trick:

Append a plus (“+”) sign after your email address and after that, you can insert any combination of words or numbers to create any number of personalized email IDs with the same inbox.

For example, nancy@alpaca.markets and nancy+alpaca1@alpaca.markets are both connected to my core email address and will receive mail in the same account.
