First Algorithm to Start

I recently came across this post on HackerNews that describes an interesting algorithm that I’d like to test with Alpaca: GitHub - KibaeKim/SectorTradingAlgorithm.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. what are people’s thoughts on this as a starting algorithm??
  2. what would people recommend to build it in (Google Colab, Spreadsheet, NodeJS, etc.)??

any indication/direction would be appreciated!!
