Cancelling order/orders takes longer than other APIs?

Alpaca and the Alpaca community,

Have you noticed that the following two APIs appear much slower than other GET and POST requests? Cancelling an order via the Alpaca GUI however, appears to be significantly faster.

Problematic APIs:

  1. Cancel and Order
  2. Cancel all Orders

The time it takes to cancel orders makes trading over shorter timeframes very problematic. I have to wait 7-10 seconds to close my previous orders.

This is not a negative critique of Alpacas in general, just an observation I want to check if people have experienced.
