I have an executed bracket order. Is there a way to sell half of the position, then update the take profit and stop loss to cut the quantity in half? I want to avoid closing all positions and orders and resubmitting them. Thanks!
@Russell_Hertel There isn’t a way to replace the quantity of a bracket order. You would need to close the orders the resubmit a new OCO order. However, if this is something which you plan on doing, perhaps submit two initial bracket orders each with half the desired tota quantity. You can replace the stop and limit prices independently to impact when/if the orders fill.
