Getting Started with Alpaca

Hi Alpaca, I’ve been using TradingView to buy / sell using the Alpaca broker integration with great success.

However, today I’m receiving this error:

Caution! Trading with alpaca is not possible the moment due to the market data not being provided. Please try again later.

Live seems stable, however paper API not so stable - paper-api-alpaca.markets seems to disconnect then reconnect after a few seconds. There’s latency to 35.194.67.18 vs no latency to 35.221.23.121.

Definitely an Australian ISP issue - traceroutes from US based sites work fine. I’ll raise with local ISP.

Initially I thought it was an internet related issue, but seems deeper than that.
