Paper Trading shows weird Equity

Hi,

I messing around a bit with paper trading account but the Equity does not make sense to me.

these are all my positions and equity and it looks like it’s making a profit.

but the Equity is saying something else.
As you can see it’s a pretty fresh paper trading account and it has no sells yet.

Can someone explain what is happening?

Sorry about this. There is currently an issue (bug) in the equity values in paper trading. The Alpaca engineering team is working on it and hope to have it resolved soon.
