My account for some reason is showing not authorized to trade. Was this ever resolved?
Hi ogmohammed, can you send an email to support@aplaca.markets with your account id? I will check why to see why this is showing up in your account.
This solution worked for me:
Is your Alpaca Account linked to TradingView by any chance?
If so, the following steps should fix this issue:
- In the 0Auth Apps Alpaca menu, find TradingView and “Revoke” access
- Go back to your paper account and reset it again
- Generate a new API Key
- Try trading, it should work now.
- You can reconnect Alapaca to TradingView from here
