Link to Bank account via CurrencyCloud

Hi,
I just opened a new account with Alpaca trading and trying to fund it via linking my bank account (non-US banks) through IBAN but unable to do so. I get this error:

CurrencyCloud error - account was never in active status

any suggestions?
