There’s an anti-bot measure in #verification. React to the right icon and you’ll have full access. Let me know if you experience further issues.

Oh nice! Perhaps you should add this link to the Alpaca UI, because right now it only shows Slack and Discourse. Slack is really not good for community chats, Slack is better for segregated teams at work (like if your own team is using it, that would be a better use case).
EDIT: Oh, it looks like that is unofficial, and not even working (the #verification does not work, no channels appear after following instructions).
per their employee @Dan_Whitnable_Alpaca over at Discord and Alpaca Server Location - #2 by Dan_Whitnable_Alpaca they discontinued the Discord server. but they didn’t disable the link above so you can get into the server where the verification fails. could be more user-friendly there
