I understand that paper trading just emulates real trading and therefore shows poorer effectiveness, but would like to know whether real trading executes faster and more accurately than paper trading, especially on “limit orders”? Basically, can I expect better results with limit orders (both buy and sell) in real trading with Alpaca than I am encountering with paper trading? I would be very thankful if somebody can answer this, because I am getting ready to open real account with Alpaca, but frankly I am not completely satisfied with the paper trading performance. Limit orders do not fill (in my opinion) as fast as they should and market orders (again in my opinion) are way off.
Thanks in advance!
