Created an account, put in all my info, and as soon as I finished uploading my documents, the website kicked me out. Every time I login I see the screen for ~0.5 s and then get kicked back to the login screen. Seems this company has collected all my info and now barred me from accessing it, support services seemingly do not exist, is this just a big phishing scam, do I need to take action with the SEC or FINRA?
I am having the same issue on both Chrome and Safari; it was working fine yesterday. Assuming its a server-side issue since it impacts two different browsers.
Having same issue. Looks like this problem has been around before.
When I read about the problem from last year there were not answers to the problem?
This issue has been resolved. Alpaca is migrating to a different internal authentication structure and several endpoints hadn’t been updated to recognize the new authentication. Paper trading portfolio history was one of those end points. This endpoint is called immediately when opening a paper account to render the equity chart. The end point didn’t authenticate so therefore asked to have the user login again creating an endless loop.
The status update can be found here.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
