on paper account
WHY?
it is so stupid!
paper account is paper, demo, artificial, not real…
I believe not subject to any laws, regulations!
as you see there is $98k cash on my paper account.
as much as I know, I remember
last time I checked my math knowledge
98k was more than 25k!!!
and cannot close some positions because of PDT!
so?
what is the solution??
anyone there from Alpaca?
why donot you remove this PDT from paper/demo accounts?

It’s just a warning message. It didn’t actually STOP you from trading.
hi, short question. i got today Equity above 25k as it was yesterday but it also shows me last_equity from yesterday as only $9,658.18| instead above 25k which was yesterday the equity the whole day.
At the moment i have a pdt aware also which deaktivates itself if last_equity and todays equity is above 25k .
Q1. would i be atm flagged as PDT because last_equity is under 25k? even if todays equity is above 25k
I dont want to risk to try it out so i better ask before. Thanks alot
