Trailing stop orders as part of advanced orders

Hi,

Alpaca’s documentation states that “Trailing stop orders are currently supported only with single orders. However, we plan to support trailing stop as the stop loss leg of bracket/OCO orders in the future.”

Seeing that this issue has been discussed in this forum for at least 1.5 years, I was wondering when “the future” would be? Could we get an ETA please? On the face of it, the issue seems relatively simple to implement.

Thank you

How is this still not implemented? At what point “in the future” does Alpaca plan to add this. Several years and nothing.

Any updates, Alpaca?

Are there any new updates regarding this feature?

I love the alpaca api and it’s very versatile. However this is an important feature that is still missing. It’s been planned for release for over 3 years but still nothing. A short update on this would be much appreciated.

@AlpacaSupport Is there any way we could get a a roadmap on when this feature may be implemented. We’re considering changing brokerages for this feature. It’s hard to plan without a clear picture of what features are incoming given this has been on your documentation for 3+ years.

@Patrick42 Alpaca does not publish a roadmap. Priorities are constantly being rearranged, and even internally they are typically quarter by quarter. Supporting trailing stops on multi-leg orders is not currently on the roadmap.

What is your use case that requires a trailing stop for a multi-leg order?
