I have a bot running that placed 6 trades this morning. For 5 of these trades, I got the usual e-mail saying that the trade has been confirmed. However for the last trade, I received 5 different e-mails telling my that the order has been filled. All of these orders were said to have been filled at the same price, but were for a different number of shares. Only one of the e-mails showed the correct number of shares.
I freaked out and went on to the Alpaca Dashboard to see that only the correct order with the right number of shares showed up anywhere. Why did I receive these false e-mails when these orders were never placed?
