CSX stock split not showing up 24hrs after the process was completed.
This surely should be updated after this time as it is currently showing a loss as the price has updated but not the share quantity?
Can anyone advise?
@jpk The additional shares of CSX from the 6-18-2021 stock split should be in user accounts. Is this a paper or live account? If it’s a live account, please submit a support request to suppoert@alpaca.markets.
This is a paper account, but I would expect it to reflect a live account for events such as a stock split? I can understand it not reflecting trade execution related market events and specifics.
Given I and others are using the paper account to validate algorithms or transfer between brokers (I’m looking to move my broker) would it not be reasonable to update paper inline with live accounts in order to understand how this appears digitally in api calls and deal with broker specific implementations?
