I used to be able to download historical overnight quotes but when I try it now, it is denied. Below is the request and response.
request_params = StockQuotesRequest(
symbol_or_symbols=“SOXL”,
start=datetime(2026, 9, 29, 21, 0, 0, tzinfo=timezone.utc), # 9:00 PM UTC (adjust to overnight window)
end=datetime(2026, 9, 29, 22, 0, 0, tzinfo=timezone.utc), # 10:00 PM UTC
feed=DataFeed.BOATS, # Crucial: Must be BOATS for full history
limit=5 # Small limit for testing
)
Status Code: 403
Error Message: subscription does not permit querying BOATS data
Full Exception String: {“message”:“subscription does not permit querying BOATS data”}
BOATS previously worked, but both my existing Paper API key and a newly generated Paper API key now return HTTP 403:
“subscription does not permit querying BOATS data”
I tested BOATS latest quotes, BOATS historical bars with an end time more than 15 minutes old, and multiple symbols. I also tested the Overnight feed, which returns a similar subscription error.
SIP latest quotes still return HTTP 200, so authentication and the Market Data API connection are working.
I have submitted a support request with the relevant X-Request-IDs. This appears to be a BOATS/Overnight entitlement provisioning issue rather than an SDK problem.
@ktalai@Can_Leo1369 This was a glitch in the authorization for paper keys and BOATS data. It has been resolved and should be working, but do post back if you have other issues.
