Using my live trading account I can’t get short positions to work. I have raised my equity above $ 2000 and I altered in the account configuration the ‘no shorting’ setting (should the button be on or off?). I tested both settings but my account keeps saying ‘shorting_enabled: False’. Any short order is refused. Long orders have no problems. Is there something wrong with my account of do I overlook something.
Shorting is essential for me because my algorithm is based on slow swing trading alternating long and short positions.
I have asked this on Slack yesterday, but no response, hence I try it in the forum.
