I understand there may be a specific, valid reason why Alpaca doesn’t offer cash accounts for live trading, but I see no reason why they can’t allow cash accounts for the paper accounts. Currently if I want to trade a small paper account (ex. $5k), I have to wait for fake money to settle because it’s a margin account… it doesn’t make any sense to me.
