Which crypto exchanges does Alpaca trading API uses?

Hello,

I am going through the docs and trying to figure out which crypto exchanges does Alpaca trading API uses to route the orders but I can not seem to be able to.

Can you please provide me that info?

@arekanderu All crypto trades on Alpaca fill against other orders on Alpaca. Basically it’s the “Alpaca Exchange”. Likewise, all the crypto market data is from these Alpaca orders and executions and not representative of prices on other exchanges such as Binance or Coinbase.

Hi @Dan_Whitnable_Alpaca, so the order book that appears in Alpaca page has just orders from Alpaca users? Do you have an estimation of how much volume is traded in alpaca exchange compared to others like Binance or CoinBase? Thanks in advance.
