I’ve been trading on and off and writing algorithms for the past couple of years.What’s everyone’s experiences currently while trading? Are you profitable or not profitable. I’m thinking about getting back into trading.
Only thing, I hope for is a way that they can remove or have the ability to unenroll from the payment for order flow.That’s happening through this brokerage.So we can have a better selection of brokerages that the orders are executed on. This dark pool, money in private equities.Stuff is beginning to be way too much of a profit loss , which is probably why everyone isn’t going back into trading since they had such a bad experience.
Also , just my opinion , but if you’re paying for a subscription with alpaca , they might as well remove the payment for order flow and not require you to have a very large account balance to do so , people don’t have the amount of money that would normally cost the value of a car to sink into electronically traded funds.
