Market orders at open

I am trying to place an order after 7pm eastern to be executed the next morning at the open of the market. I am using the order type ‘opg’ which is supposed to be the key for open execution. Last night I placed it and the order status was ‘accepted’. When I went back this morning to check the status around 10am eastern, it was still ‘accepted’ and not ‘filled’. Looking for a reason why or a solution.
