Just made an AI tool that turns your strategy ideas into code
Hey everyone,
I’ve been tinkering with a small side project that might be useful for fellow Alpaca users.
It’s an AI-powered tool where you:
- Pick your quant platform – right now it works with Alpaca + Backtrader (more platforms on the way).
- Describe your strategy idea in plain English.
- Get back a complete, runnable strategy script.
The goal is to make it easier to go from “I have this idea” → “I can actually run and test it” without spending hours on boilerplate. You can just copy the generated code into your own environment, run a backtest, and tweak from there.
It’s still a work in progress — I’m adding more platforms, and customization. I’d love to hear what kind of features would make it more useful for you.
