Is there a way to just short using Alpaca’s UI instead of through code? I’m looking at something I want to try out, but I don’t feel like coding it yet.
@David_Zickafoose To short a stock, simply sell it when you do not currently have any shares. Both the API and the web UI are similar in this case. Selling short is simply selling. To close a short positions simply place an order to buy.
