Hi, I am a beginner in this topic and have not found a detailed description of the problem and solution on youtube and google, so I am asking here. Why is there more volume going through esignal than alpaca, is it something to do with dark pool and off-exchange trading? How can this affect trading?

Are you using the free subscription or the ‘AlgoTraderPlus’ one? The data on free subscription is simply indicative and hence should not be used to analyse or make trades.
