# V2/positions/{symbol} doesn't work for all the stocks

v2/positions/{symbol} API doesn’t return positions for TSLA, MSFT, PTC, WOOF, NKE, NFLX but returns GOOG, FB  
I can confirm those orders placed in Alpaca dashboard UI.

just v2/positions without symbol also returns an array only with GOOG, FB

This endpoint returns only open positions. If you just place an order and it’s not filled you will not see it in the positions list - only in the orders list.
