# Shorting Crypto

I would love to have the ability to short on crypto. Most of what I work on are long/short.  
I would also love to have margin enabled for crypto as well down the road.  
Hope these features are planned for the near term.

Hi @levon, as you may already know, it’s not possible to short or use margin with Crypto. We do not support that at the moment. Although we cannot provide a timeline, we are looking to add this capability in the future.
