# Pending cancel live account bug

I’ve got a trade that is stuck in pending cancel mode. I’ve tried deleting it through the api and through the web portal, it stays there and I cannot sell the shares because they are locked in the pending cancel status. How can this be corrected?

Looks like this issue has been pending for quite a while now. Same issue with paper for me.

I have tweeted @AlpacaHQ about this issue, pending for almost a year. Here is the link to my tweet. Perhaps if many of us in the community reply to that tweet and ask for a fix there, someone at Alpaca support may pick it up.
