## Hello. I had just got approved for my live account and when I go to log in, I am hit with MFA which I never set up. There is no way reset or request anything. I am fully locked out of my account. Can you help me settle this and how to avoid it in the future given I never set up the MFA? Thanks. ---

@hhnt7r send an email to [support@alpaca.markets](mailto:support@alpaca.markets) and request that your MFA be reset. Ensure you include your account number and ideally send send the request from the same email address associated with the account. They will be able to get you going again. ---

Thank you for the response. I did two submissions. One though Zendesk (355270) and another through email with my account email (354642). ---

@hhnt7r You should have received a response for ticket number 354642 around 12:05 AM EDT 2026-09-14. There were instructions on how you can get your MFA reset. Reply to that email and support will be able to get you up and running. ---

I have the same issue. I sent a request to the [support@alpaca.markets](mailto:support@alpaca.markets) via the email on my account and just got the same response about sending an MFA reset request again. How do I actually get the MFA reset so I can set it up myself? ---

How long is the typical response for support to look at? I am completely locked out of my account for 3 days now. ---

@hhnt7r @B4ck0LT what is the number of the support ticket you sent? I can check and see what the issue is and perhaps reprioritize it.
