On the final screen for an IRA transfer the brokerage account number I entered is replaced by a 4 digit number completely unrelated to what I entered. What to do here? ---

So I look up this 4 digit number and it’s the 4-digit DTC clearing number of the brokerage that overlayed the account number. ---

@greno Thank you for highlighting this UI issue on the transfer details page. If you previously entered your correct account number everything will work OK. This is simply a UI issue. I have notified the Alpaca team that handles the front-end webpages, and they will get it fixed . Again, thank you for highlighting this and providing the detailed and helpful feedback. ---

Thanks for the response, Dan. I may wait until I see that page get fixed. I don’t want things stuck in limbo during transfers. Also, I think the name issue I encountered on trying to do an ACH transfer and having that fail is also going to affect IRA transfer as well. So both these issues need fixed in order to trust the transactions occurring successfully. ---

@greno the front end UI team fixed the issue with the incorrect number, so everything should be good to go now. Thank you for bringing this up.
