# How can I know if my paper trading is connected to Alpaca successfully?

Hi,

I use the zipline-trader to do the paper trade. I use the example as described here: [Going Live — Zipline Trader 1.5.0 documentation](https://zipline-trader.readthedocs.io/en/latest/going-live.html#algo-template)

I run this exampke in Jupyter notebook. As I run to the cell of ‘ **main** ’, it hands. I am not sure if this is correct. But how can I check if the connection to my account by alpaca successed?
