Someone here has already used the alpaca-java dependency ?  
is it working just fine?

Yes, I am the maintainer. Read through the README [here](https://github.com/Petersoj/alpaca-java/blob/master/README.md) for examples of how to use the library and if you encounter any issues, post it [here](https://github.com/Petersoj/alpaca-java/issues) and I will address it!
