# Access to Alpaca Community on Slack

I’ve been meaning to explore a move of my trading to Alpaca, I had time today and started looking at the code that had worked but now its broken. So now that the code I was using to access the API is giving dead, I need to update it.

We were going to update it since I liked the look of this code but now the API is different. I found this code from just last year and I guess the API has changed so this doesn’t work anymore either.
